What are Story Quests?
Basically, we refer as Story Quests as all the quests that reward you with LifeSkill Exp. This exp makes you gain LifeSkill Points, used to learn and upgrade lifeskills.
Remember, you have to be level 10 or more to start these quests.
You can start the Story Quests by talking to any of the Newbie guides:
Icicle City > Newbie Guide - Angela -------> 1315, 507 Deep Blue
Argent City > Newbie Guide - Senna -------> 2223, 2785 Ascaron
Shaitan City > Newbie Guide - Resline -------> 876, 3572 Magical Ocean
